Mark A. Tarshis, President

Mark A. Tarshis is the President and founder of M. Alan Financial, Inc., a Boynton Beach, Florida-based firm providing tax preparation, tax planning, retirement planning, investment management, and comprehensive financial planning services. Since entering the financial services industry in 1998, Mark has helped individuals, families, retirees, and business owners make informed financial decisions and pursue their long-term financial goals.

A key differentiator of Mark's practice is his integrated approach to financial planning and tax preparation. By understanding both the tax and financial implications of important decisions, he helps clients develop strategies designed to improve tax efficiency, preserve wealth, and support long-term financial success. Each year, Mark prepares tax returns for hundreds of individuals and families while also providing ongoing financial guidance to clients throughout South Florida and across the country.

Mark earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Florida Atlantic University. During his career, he has worked with some of the financial services industry's most recognized firms, including Merrill Lynch and Prudential Securities. In 2001, he shifted his focus to a comprehensive tax and financial planning model that allows him to better serve clients by addressing all aspects of their financial lives.

Over the years, Mark has prepared thousands of tax returns, assisted clients in resolving IRS matters, and helped individuals and families navigate retirement, investment, and tax planning decisions. His objective is to fully understand each client's unique situation so he can provide personalized recommendations tailored to their goals and circumstances.

Mark is currently licensed as a Series 7, Series 63, and Series 65 financial advisor in California, Connecticut, Florida, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas and Puerto Rico. He also holds Florida licenses for Life Insurance, Health Insurance, and Variable Annuities.

When not working with clients, Mark enjoys spending time with his wife, Jamie, and their two children. He also enjoys traveling, baseball, home improvement projects, and cooking.
